1. Information We Collect

• Business/store details provided by you
• Payment details required for platform subscriptions (processed securely via third-party providers)
• Usage data such as pages visited, actions taken, device details, app diagnostics, and approximate technical information

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

• Provide and manage your website/store
• Process payments and subscriptions
• Send order notifications and service updates
• Improve platform performance and user experience
• Protect accounts, prevent fraud, and maintain platform security

3. Payments

All payments are processed securely via trusted third-party payment providers. Customer order payments go directly to the seller's connected payment account and bank account. StartupInMinutes does not hold customer funds and does not store full card or banking details.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We may share limited data with:

• Payment gateway and subscription billing providers
• Messaging and push notification providers
• Cloud hosting, storage, analytics, and security service providers
• Professional or legal advisers where required
• Authorities if required by applicable law

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain login sessions, improve security, remember preferences, measure performance, and analyze platform usage.

7. Analytics

We may use analytics tools, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Firebase, Meta Pixel, or similar services, to understand usage, improve the product, measure marketing performance, and diagnose technical issues.

8. Push Notifications

If you use our Android app or enable notifications, we may send service-related notifications such as order updates, account alerts, security notices, and important platform information. You can manage notification permissions through your device settings.

9. Data Retention

We retain account information while your account is active. After a verified account deletion request, we revoke active sessions and delete or anonymize account profile data within 30 days, except where retention is required or permitted by law. Subscription billing, invoices, refunds, payout, tax, and accounting records may be retained for up to 8 years or longer if required by applicable law. Security, audit, fraud-prevention, support, and dispute records may be retained for up to 5 years after account closure or final resolution of the related matter. Push notification tokens are disabled or removed when the account is deleted or within 30 days after notifications are no longer needed. App telemetry and diagnostic data are deleted or anonymized within 24 months unless needed for an active security, fraud, legal, or dispute matter.

10. Account Deletion

You can also submit a public web request at startupinminutes.in/account-deletion. We verify account ownership before processing deletion requests.

You can request deletion of your StartupInMinutes account from within the StartupInMinutes app by going to Settings → Account details → Danger Zone → Request account deletion, or by contacting support@startupinminutes.com. After verification, we will delete or anonymize your personal data unless we are legally required or permitted to retain certain records.

11. Children's Privacy

StartupInMinutes is not directed toward children under the age of 13. If you are under the age required to enter into a legally binding contract under applicable law, you should use the platform only with the involvement or permission of your parent or legal guardian. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to delete that information.
